Ideally, you should be seeking someone who is the same age as you.
If you just happen, by chance, to connect with someone a few years older or a few years younger, fine, good for you...........
but don't be PURPOSELY trying to make that age difference happen by searching for someone older or younger. Seriously.

I agree. My boyfriend is almost two years older than me and we didn't plan it that way. Heck, my sister's boyfriend is 7 years older than her. It shouldn't matter how old or young your partner should be, as long you love that person. Age is just a number, not a requirement.
