Job seeking. Can you offer some advice on finding employment with chances for advancement?

The bigger the company the more room for advancement. Also take all the training that is offered and keep a log of your trainings. Try to get any designations or certificates in your field. The people with the letters behind their name get promoted first. People complain about it all the time but the 'brown nozers' also get promoted over those with more skills.
