My advise is stop being so lazy. Thats why America is going down the drain. No one wants to work but everyone wants to be rich.

How can i seek help and advice urgently?

I am employed by over a year by an international retail company. Since i began, i had no arguments or disagreement over my managers. While i was working last week, there was some sort of problem into what person should cover another person while he attended his lunch break, i disagreed to cover the fellow employee as i had many different tasks and role to complete by the end of the day. In my department, there are only 2 people including myself running the biggest department in the store whereas in another department, there were 5 people working. The question that i have is that why they keep constantly wanting me to cover the lunch break in which nobody else does. I am contantly forced to do this as these are no longer my intentions as i want my department to be the most organised. From the other department nobody is called to go on the checkout. I have found out that the employer is not following an Equal Opportunities Act inwhich i am given always doing this and others are not. The right that i also have is that i am given work overload, in which my department standards are not as best as they used to be. What other rights do i have into making sure that i am not always called to the tills and what action am i able to take, Please help.....really important, thanks..How can i seek help and advice urgently?
well you can talk to the other employees in that department and make a compromise and tell them about your situation...you guys could take turns covering..that would be fairHow can i seek help and advice urgently?
The Equal Opportunity Act says that you must have the same opportunities as you would have if you were another race, gender, etc. It does NOT prohibit employers make treating employees differently for any reason other than those specified in the law. While stupid, it is perfectly legal for an employer to select employees at random to be given more work than others.

  • Staying at Radisson in Cancun downtown Seeking advice on meals and activities?

My wife and 4 kids (16 15 8 %26amp; 3) will be staying at the Radisson in town (govt / financial district). Need advice on where to eat, walk to, drive to and other points of interest nearby exclusive of the typical tourist stops. Also ideas on transporation options pros and cons. ThanksStaying at Radisson in Cancun downtown Seeking advice on meals and activities?
Well....here goes!!! For diving....I recommend a day trip to Isla Mujures.....great family trip and diving is wonderful. Just ferry over and enjoy!!! The best shopping street in downtown Cancun is Avenue Tulum. Restaurants......wow......La Parillia, Tacoloyte, el tapitio, Pericos, La Habituala......too many to mention. All the restaurants downtown are good...food and entertainment wise. Transportation options....bus, rental car, or taxi. The bus is the cheapest mode of transportation.....65 cents per person. Taxi....you must be careful...some will rip you off. Car rental....if this is your first trip to Cancun....stay away from this. Driving is crazy and the car rental places will rip you off if you are not careful. You will want to take the kids to Margaritaville for dinner one night.....it is wonderful entertainment for the entire family. They have kids night one night of the week 4-7...for the smaller kids.....use to be Thursday night, but might have changed this month being it is spring break season right now. The jungle tour is fun for the family.....and there is a water park if that is of interest to you. I prefer the beach myself. The Radisson is a good clean hotel......I think you will be pleased. There is a carnival downtown that is fun for some night time activities. I usually go at least one time to ride the crazy mouse!!!! Carlos and Charlies is also a good family restaurant for some good entertainment. There is so much to do....I can't begin to tell you everything. I think I have given you the best choices, but there are many others available. Just make sure to grab a welcome packet at the airport for some good discount coupons. The Mayan Ruins is a good educational trip, but there are ruins that are free to view in various places in Cancun.....some up near Dreams Resort in the hotel zone. Make sure you spray for mosquitos if you do this.......the mosquitos there are horrible. Also keep in mind....Red Cross will not take blood from anyone who has visited the Maya Ruins.....at least that is what I was told. You will have a wonderful trip....Cancun is the best!!!!Staying at Radisson in Cancun downtown Seeking advice on meals and activities?
sorry i didn't stay at the radisson i stayed at royal solaris...anyway downtown has many great places to eat little alley-way shops and you can get many goods outside ur hotel cheaper..when i wanted the us today paper at my hotel it was 80 pesos=8 bucks!!!in that alley the next day i got it for 25 pesos! make sure you don't get hit by a hurricane while u r down there..

I have jock itch and am seeking advice?

im 16 and ive had it for about a week now. ive been using hydrocortizone cream and that hasnt seemed to help.I have jock itch and am seeking advice?
jock itch is called by a fungus!!! it is called tinea cruris. you're going to need an ANTIFUNGAL not hydrocortisone, which is an antiinflammatory steroid. SO, you need to change meds, you can buy it OTC at the drug store and look specifically for an antifungal for jock itch. it's the only way to rid it. and dont scratch it, you will make it WORSEI have jock itch and am seeking advice?
Hydrocortizone is a little harsh for that sensitive area and may increase the irritation, I'd suggest something gentler.

To help with the itch make sure you wash thoroughly behind your foreskin and change your shorts every day.

If it doesn't clear up in another week see your doctor. If you've recently had unprotected sex, see your doctor immediately.

    Good luck x
Wash it, don't shave it :P
    then scratch it

All Canadians. I seek your valuable advice and help, will appreciate your replies to my question.?

Hi, i am from India and recently got my immigration for Canada. I am expected to leave for Canada by December. I sincerely seek you help and valuable advice so to pursue my journey to Canada in the right direction. I have done lot of self study for all the cities and provinces. Few places i got really attracted to, but unable to make out which one would be the ideal city. So, i seek help from all Canadians who are familiar with those places and can input some information for me. I will really appreciate your effort in guiding me in the right direction.

I am a customer service professional. My wife runs her own fashion boutique and have a 3 year old girl. The places i like to settle are:

    1) Halifax (NS)

    2) Fredericton OR Moncton (NB)

    3) Saskatoon (SK)

    4) London OR Windsor OR Ottawa (ON)

Somehow my interest lies more in the Maritimes due to housing affordability and several other factors, but unware of job situation there.

Please let me know which one would be the best for me and my family to make our move to a beautiful country CANADA.

Seeing the world economic meltdown, which place can you suggest me the best. I favor East Coast. Thanks to all and will be awaiting for your replies. All Canadians. I seek your valuable advice and help, will appreciate your replies to my question.?
There's pros and cons to all those places.

The East Coast in general is kind of getting hit hard by the economy. For the first time in decades they've had to create orphanages because people can't afford to take care of their children, and there aren't enough foster homes for children.

The crime rate is a bit higher in Halifax, but if you want to live on the east coast and are in customer service, with your wife running a fashion boutique, it's probably your best bet. There's still enough people in Halifax who can afford things.

I don't know too much about Saskatoon.

London, Windsor and Ottawa are all about the same. Lots of Customer Service jobs available, quite possible to make a go of a fashion boutique. Windsor has a bit of a higher crime rate too.

    Good luck!

Would you seek emergency medical advice from Yahoo! Answers?

I'm perplexed. The question below is one that is open here. I want to know if you would ask for medical advice that is of an urgent nature on Yahoo! Answers?

(I'm also trying to figure out the logic of the event. The emergency occurs, the person who witnesses the emergency says: Stay right there, I'm going to Yahoo! Answers to find out what to do.) Here's how the question was posted...

My sister just got shocked by a lamp while her hand was wet!!!!!?

what should I do, her hand is numb, and it stings, she even says she feels shocks up her arm

Please help!!!Would you seek emergency medical advice from Yahoo! Answers?
That isn't the first time such questions have been posted. Some fellow fell off a ladder and asked if he should go to the ER for a crooked arm.

There are also many questions of extremely personal medical variety here, which puzzles me, because if you are embarrassed to ask a doctor, why would you post for millions of people to see?

Either these people are so unsure of themselves that they need someone to confirm their impulse to get help, or else they are more comfortable with the computer than picking up a phone and talking to actual medical people. Whatever, we do try to help them anyway, don't we? We tell them ';GO TO A DOCTOR!';Would you seek emergency medical advice from Yahoo! Answers?
There is no way I would seek emergency help from yahoo answers.

There is a reason they have emergency at the hospital.. I do hope the sister got medical care.
    Couple of issues here.

Apparently, the original question was from someone in Malaysia. Many countries do not have easy access to medical care. So Y/A may be their best source for advice.

Beyond that, the question indicated this was NOT an emergency. The woman is very much alive and simply has tingling and numbness. While certainly symptoms to be concerned about, it is not emergent.

Beyond that, as a nurse, I have no problem with Y/A. I view it as no different than having a problem and asking your mother, brother, neighbor, friend... for advice. It doesn't mean that you will accept what they say 100% as accurate, but you roll it into the decision making process. And having viewed many answers over the years, more often than not, there is very sound advice given here... along with with some crappy... I grant you. But just like getting advice from a friend, you still have to have the common sense to filter out the bad in favor of the good.
If, by your judgment, you or someone is seriously affected, you will do your best what you've remembered from FIRST AID: (A-B-C)

AIRWAY: you'll check persons mouth to enable him/her to breath and you will put him/her into position where breathing pathways will stay open

BREATHING: you'll check breathing by putting your face close to victim's nostrils; if no breathing, you'll start with artificial breathing.

CIRCULATION: Check the pulse on the neck artery (left or right side of the throat). If there is no palpable pulse, you start with heart massage.

DIABETICS often fall into hypoglycemic coma. If they are still aware, you lift the person into a chair and try to give him a Sweet drink. Otherwise you give an injection of glucagone or glucose, which diabetics have to have somewhere close...

EPILEPTIC ATTACK - you try to prevent person from self-injury, e.g. you roll a napkin and put it between his/her teeth to prevent biting of the tongue.

BLEEDING: press on the artery above the bleeding site...

If someone eats a lot of fiber pills (OMG!), gets nasty sunburn, just got terrible diarrhea...then Yahoo answers may be handy - you can get useful advice and reassurance in minutes.
